nanoSorter
Stage of adaption :
Post Harvest Stage
TECHNOLOGY BRIEF
nanoPix has unique imageIn Technology which correlates multiple camera images to extract 3D parameters without 3D reconstruction. This helps in constructing very low cost 3D tracking systems. This technology can be applied from Airport security to blood smear analysis in a wide range of segments. In 2011, nanoPix took this technology to agriculture by incorporating this into nanoSorter Cashew Grading Machine that can accurately grade cashew as per international standards. The accuracy is comparable only with very high expensive imported machines that are not affordable for Indian processors and farmers.
BENEFITS
nanoSorter Cashew Grading Machine grades cashew kernels by size, colour and shape. Post-harvest, Raw Cashew Nut are roasted, cut open and the inside Natural kernels are peeled to remove the brown skin. After that, it is graded into various grades to sell in the market. The margin to processing cashew comes through grading. For farmers, it is difficult to get the correct grades and hence tough to sell their produce. Hence, we made machines to suite various capacity nanoSorter Cashew Grading Machine according to the farmer’s processing capacity at very affordable price.

After that it provided no employment in the past. Now, they retain a part of their produce and process it themselves and get income and also are employed the entire year. This is great impact for the farmer and dependent family.
