TECHNOLOGY BRIEF
A B-School for farmers who have formed/aspire to form Producer Organizations. It uses on premise immersive classroom sessions as well as online content to help FPO Mangers & farmers develop business acumen. The FPO Pathshala has its genesis in Samunnati’s strong belief that a balanced mix of market access, aggregation and institution building activities can make the market work supported by scalable technology.
Modules include book-keeping, compliance and legal, taxation, input cost management, harvest throughput improvement, power of aggregation and beyond. While regional chapters of the school impart training to the managers, the online version focuses on on-demand customised content delivered in local language with interactive & audio-visual means reinforced by rewards, certificates & tangible benefits positively impacting transactional activities.

SOCIAL IMPACT
Primarily designed to serve collectives of smallholder farmers, the platform enables access to markets along with capacity building of these organisations. The strengthening of these rural entities has immediate impact in terms of:
• Bringing the cost of inputs down
• More output per unit
• More unit under use
In long terms it contributes to upliftment of smallholder farmers through operating the agri value chains at a higher equilibrium.
