TECHNOLOGY BRIEF
SoilSensTM Station is a smart system with multiple sensors and IoT to capture field specific data about soil moisture, soil temperature, ambient humidity and ambient temperature. These parameters are sent to the cloud for real-time analysis. Based on the analysed data, farmers get advisory on mobile app. If farmers are not having smart phone, same advice can be sent to him through SMS.
Data is available on the dashboard in real time. The frequency at which data is received is programmable. Data is received through SIM card which is installed in the system. Farmer gets alerts on his mobile app which is available with the system. With this system, farmer can improve yield, save water, reduce crop loss due to disease and pests.

We have built, tested and sold to more than 100 customers. This shows approval of technology. We also have testimonials from the customers. We have strategically outsourced the operations so that expansion becomes easier. We have a profit margin of almost 45%. We are improvising and making DIY kind of product so that we can cut down on operational expenses. Product will be sold online or through distributors. No installation hassles. Everything is managed remotely so minimum manpower requirement. We have vision to bring more affordable technologies for precision agriculture from time to time as the market expands. SOCIAL IMPACT
By using this technology, we have shown reduction in consumption of water by 27% in agriculture. Productivity also increased by 20%. We also shown detection of powdery mildew in grapes.
